Company Overview

WECCAN was established in 1994. We spent 20 years in developing, manufacturing and selling Radio Control Toys. The initial stages up to the first. 10 years were mainly focused on developing and supplying Radio Control products. It was then in 2004 that we became the first of the companies in China who had the ability to produce Radio Control helicopter. Following which we spent 4 years in improving product structure design and controlling the key materials such as motors and batteries. Meanwhile our engineers worked with the engineers of Murata jn Japan and successfully applied Gyroscope technology to Radio Control helicopters. Since that time on, the flight stability, performance and controllability of helicopters got much better and provided better play and user experience for the consumers. Gradually we also got the opportunity to cooperate with Radioshack, Argos, Carrefour, BestBuy,Maplin in OEM and ODM projects. At the era of smart phones embedded with Bluetooth and WIFI technology, our associates at WECCAN team thought our toys also could be smarter. We discussed with Apple about controlling our toys by iPhone in 2009. Apple showed great appreciation on our idea and agreed that it will be a great innovation in the business of toys and hobby products. Apple spent 1 year in strictly auditing and estimating our product plan and factory. Finally, we won the MFi licensee manufacturer in 2010, the first MFi licensee manufacturer in toys field. Thanks for 3 years success in applying Apple technology and Bluetooth and WIFI technology, we have been appointed as MFi 6.2 licensee manufacturer in 2014.
